RI woos investors to summit

Coordinating Minister for the Economy Aburizal Bakrie held
meetings with at least 10 chief executives of major Singaporean
corporations -- including Temasek, Government Investment
Corporation (GIC), Keppel and Singapore Power -- in the city
state on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The meetings are part of
Indonesia's effort to entice potential investors to participate
in the Infrastructure Summit to take place in Jakarta on Jan. 17
and Jan. 18. In the summit, Indonesia will offer 37 key
infrastructure projects worth more than Rp 100 trillion (US$10.87
billion) to local and foreign investors. -- JP
