RI windsurfers warm up in China

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Yachting and Windsurfing
Association (Porlasi) sent three windsurfers to the China Open as
part of their preparations for the Kuala Lumpur 2001 Southeast
Asian (SEA) Games.

"The windsurfers are Oka Sulaksana in the men's heavyweight
division, Fadli Yusuf in the men's lightweight and Yuni
Trisnawati in the women's mistral events," Porlasi secretary
general Aji Sularso told reporters on Monday.

"We haven't set any target for our windsurfers because their
participation will be able to evaluate their training progress.
But we do hope they will be able to grab at least some bronze
medals."

The China Open is part of the Asia Pacific circuit and slated
to take place from June 28 until July 3 on the island of Peng Lay
in the Chinese province of Guangdong. (nvn)
