RI to send children to physics tourney

JAKARTA: Indonesia will send a high school physics research
team to Brisbane, Australia, to compete in the International
Young Physicist Tournament (IYPT) between June 24 to July 1,
2004.

It will be the second consecutive time for Indonesia to send
its delegates, which will consist of five students from the
country's high schools.

The five students are from Christian High School 1 of BPK
Penabur, State High School 8 (SMAN 8), Tarakanita High School 2
and State High School 37 (SMAN 37)

The tournament features students from around the world who
will compete in research on physics engineering and science.

Indonesia finished second in last year's tournament. -- Antara
