RI to open embassy in Libya
JAKARTA: After meeting with Vice President Hamzah Haz on Tuesday, World Islamic Call Society secretary-general Mohammad Ahmad Sharief of Libya said that Indonesia would soon open an embassy in Libya.
Mohammad, however, declined to give further explanation on the move.
"For further information just ask your government," he said.
As Indonesia presently has no embassy in Libya, all Indonesia's bilateral affairs with the country have been handled by the Indonesian Embassy in Tunisia. Libya, on the other hand, has long had an embassy in Jakarta. --Antara
