RI to hold overseas expos

JAKARTA (JP): PT Humpuss Madya Pratama announced yesterday that
it plans to promote Indonesia's production and services
capabilities at exhibitions in Singapore between Aug. 2 and Aug.
6 and in Beijing between Oct. 5 and Oct. 9.

The company's president, Srisetiowati Seiful, said that the
exhibitions, to be called Indonesia in Progress 1995, are
expected to attract executives of dealerships, general trading
houses, international purchasing offices, mail order houses, duty
free shops, suppliers and distributors, as well as government
officials.

She said that some companies, both private and state-owned,
had already reserved spaces stalls at the exhibitions. Her
company is seeking up to 120 companies to take part in the
exhibitions, she said. (32)
