RI to buy Hungarian buses

BUDAPEST (AFP): Siti Hardiyanti Rukmana, the daughter of President Soeharto of Indonesia has arrived here for a three-day unofficial visit, the Foreign Ministry said.

Hardiyanti, a main shareholder of an Indonesian company trading with Hungarian-made Ikarus buses, is expected to buy 40 diesel buses here.

Hardiyanti, who started her Hungarian visit on Friday, met with a state secretary of the Ministry of Industry of Trade and Cultural Minister Gabor Fodor, as well as the head of a parliamentary committee on youth and education.
