RI, Thailand win in Aspac volley

FUKUOKA, Japan (AFP): Indonesia and Thailand both scored their second wins at the Asian-Pacific Cup men's volleyball here yesterday.

The Indonesians, runners-up to Japan in the previous Cup, rallied to a 15-10, 15-3, 15-10 win over the Philippines in the six-team round robin tournament in Fukuoka, south-west Japan.

Thailand breezed past Vietnam 15-12, 15-6, 15-6 to remain unbeaten, and now take on Indonesia today. Indonesia beat Thailand in their last two SEA Games finals.
