RI team to question al-Faruq

JAKARTA: The government finalized a plan to send an
investigation team to question Omar Al-Faruq.

Al-Faruq has reportedly said that Indonesian Muslim cleric Abu
Bakar Ba'asyir was a major terrorist operative and had his
headquarters in the Southeast Asia region.

"The team will leave the country on Sunday at the latest to
start the interrogation," Susilo said, adding that the team
consists of two policemen and one officer from the National
Intelligence Agency (BIN).

"Only after the interrogation can we determine the next step
to take and what to do about the allegations made against Abu
Bakar Ba'asyir," he said. --JP
