RI sends bowlers to Malaysia

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Bowling Association today will
send five female and four male bowlers to the 8th Asian Youth
Bowling Championships in Genting Highland, Malaysia, scheduled
for Jan. 7 - 13.

Team manager Alamsyah Tankama told The Jakarta Post yesterday
that the five female bowlers are Lisa Permata Sari from West
Java, Irma Fitria Sari, Happy Aridewanti, Trefi Pamela Risakota
from East Kalimantan and a reserve, Asih Tria Wulandari from
Jakarta.

Their four male team mates are Gatot Aryo Nugroho and Ryan
Leonard Lalisang from East Kalimantan, Verdi Busra from South
Sumatra and Hanung Tri Wahyu Adi from Central Java.

In the 1993 championships in Hong Kong, Indonesia won only one
silver medal from Irma Fitria Sari in the girl's master event. A
total of 18 countries, including Qatar, New Zealand and
Australia, will send their teams to Genting Highland, Alamsyah
