RI palm stearin sought

CAIRO (Reuter): Egypt said it was seeking 15,000 tons to
20,000 tons of Malaysian or Indonesian palm stearin for delivery
in the second half of December.

The official Holding Company for Food Industries said Nov. 11
was the closing date for the tender and added the stearin should
be appropriate to soap making.

Egypt also tendered yesterday for up to 15,000 tons of palm
oil for December delivery.
