KARACHI, Pakistan (Reuter): The state-run Trading Corporation
of Pakistan (TCP) said yesterday it had signed an agreement with
the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) to
increase bilateral trade to US$1 billion in next two years from
$211 million in 1994/95 (July-June).

A TCP spokesman said under the agreement, signed on Monday,
Indonesia would export palm oil, tea, polyester yarn, petro-
chemicals, aircraft and machinery and Pakistan would export rice,
cotton yarn and fresh fruits.

Indonesia will hold a trade fair in Pakistan from September 12
to 16, he said.
