''It is the domestic market, not the export market, that currently offers the most viable opportunities,'' says President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in his state of the nation address Friday.

"The economic growth (principle) we uphold is that of growth and equality to bring justice along with it," he said in his speech at the House of Representatives building.

"In the future, we need to strengthen our domestic economy and domestic market, and must not rely only on exports as our growth source."

The speech is Yudhoyono's last in his first term as president. The plenary was also attended by foreign ambassadors, regional representatives and leaders.
