RI needs a student
party now!

Since the fall of the Old Order, the emergence of the New
Order and the ousting of former president Abdurrahman "Gus Dur'
Wahid, students have become manipulated by certain parties,
purportedly for the establishment of a just and prosperous
society. It is a pity these students continue to be used by
certain parties at general elections or in efforts to bring down
a government.

I have been a lecturer at a number of universities since 1968
and in my observation I have found that the public has often been
quick to blame students for cheating and being manipulative.

In fact, a change toward a better future lies in the hands of
university students. Therefore, allow me to call on university
students to stop sacrificing themselves and their values just for
a packet of rice.

It is now time for university students to use their clear
minds and healthy bodies to dedicate themselves to the nation by
setting up a party of Indonesian students. In this way, students
would be able to eradicate bad elements in society.

I believe this call will receive an amazing response from all
students across the country. The establishment of this party will
be necessary as a nationwide move to immediately improve the
country's economic and political situation.
