RI, Namibia sign MOU
JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian and Namibian governments signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote bilateral cooperation in mining and energy.
The MOU was signed by Minister of Mines and Energy I.B. Sudjana and his Namibian counterpart Minister of Mines and Energy Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo.
According to the MOU, both governments will cooperate in mining and energy by exchanging data, technical personnel and experts and promoting the participation of private companies of both countries in the two sectors.
The agreement will be valid for five years and shall automatically continue to be in force for another five years, if it is not terminated by written notice by either party. (jsk)
