RI jet skiers take King's Cup

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesian jet skiers took home the King's Cup
after winning three out of six gold medals up for grabs in the
Asia Pacific Jet Sport Championship at Samila Sangkhla Beach,
Thailand, over the weekend.

The Navy Information Service announced yesterday that Ayub
Subekti notched up a golden double in the Pro Runabout 785
Modified and the Expert Runabout 785 Superstock classes.
Indonesia trebled its gold medal earnings through Bayu Yasadhana,
who triumphed in the Expert Sky 785 Superstock.

The 12-strong Indonesian team added a silver after Ismail Ning
finished second behind compatriot Ayub in Pro Runabout 785
Modified.

Host Thailand won two golds and Malaysia one. (amd)
