RI has yet to cut oil output
SINGAPORE (Reuters): Indonesia's foreign crude producers said yesterday they had not received anion was unchanged from March.
"We haven't heard anything directly from Pertamina on production cuts, apart from what we've seen in the media," said a U.S. company producing in Indonesia.
"We are still producing at the same levels," added another foreign producer.
Some producers said Pertamina may be looking to Caltex, the joint venture between Texaco and Chevron Corp, to bear most of the production cuts, as it is the single largest producer in Indonesia, with output of 760,000 barrels-per-day (bpd).
But a Caltex spokesman in Jakarta said the company had not received any directives from Pertamina.
