JAKARTA: At least 11 Indonesian companies will take part in this year's Bucharest International Fair for Consumer Goods (TIBCO 2005) in the Romanian capital, the Romanian Embassy in Jakarta said in a statement.
"The companies, which are from Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Pontianak Cirebon (West Java) and Semarang, will exhibit new designs of a variety of products, such as furniture, agro products, batik, handicrafts, silver jewelry, lamp accessories and mosaic tiles, at the five-day fair, which will begin on June 1," Romanian Ambassador to Indonesia Gheorghe Savuica said in the statement received by The Jakarta Post.
The National Agency for Export Development and Indonesia's Ministry of Trade have jointly arranged the Indonesian companies' trip to Bucharest, Savuica said, adding that Indonesian companies were regular participants in the fair. -- JP
