International management consultancy Accenture suggested Indonesian enterprises should increase their investment in information technology (IT) in order to support growing businesses, an official said.
Accenture’s latest research found that high performing companies have strong IT elements within their working base, while companies which are still struggling usually have made only a low investment in IT.
"Our study shows very clearly that high performing companies use information technology to support businesses," Accenture’s senior manager Evan Wiradharma said Tuesday at a media gathering.
He added that the decision to invest in IT is a key competitive differentiator in today's business environment.(drs)
