RI-Croatia business ties

ZAGREB (Reuter): Indonesian Research and Technology Minister
B.J Habibie is visiting Croatia to talk to business leaders and
government ministers about cooperation between the two economies,
an official on the visit said.

Habibie will hold talks about "technological cooperation and
the transfer of technology by both sides," an official from the
Indonesian embassy in Budapest told Reuters.

Indonesia does not have an embassy in Zagreb.

Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa told Croatian television
"our economies are structured in such a complementary manner that
Indonesia is interested in the fields in which Croatia is
successful and we are interested in those where Indonesia is
good."

Using Croatian sea ports as an entry point into European
markets was a possible area for business cooperation, the
television report said.
