RI bridge pair invited to Holland

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia is invited to take part in the men's
bridge pair tournament in the Netherlands.

Hengky Lasut, a top national bridge player and member of the
Indonesian Bridge Association, said in Manado that for the Dutch
tournament, the host expects Indonesia's team include those
participating in the 10th Bridge Olympics last year on Rhodes
Island, Greece.

The national team in the 1996 Bridge Olympics are pairs of
Hengky Lasut/Eddy Manoppo, Denny Sacul/Franky Karwur and Sance
Panelewen/Giovanny Watulingas.

"The Dutch tournament is limited to the best 12 teams and
Indonesia is one of them," Lasut said. (lnt)
