RI allocates 230,000 bpd of crude
SINGAPORE (Reuter): State-owned Indonesian oil firm Pertamina has allocated about 230,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil in July against its initial allocation of 200,000 bpd in June, oil traders said yesterday.
Traders said the amount of crude oil available for export in July was slightly less than that available in June because of a slight decrease in Arun condensate.
"Output of Arun has fallen because Liquefied Natural Gas demand for Arun condensate has not been very good. Arun's output is down to around 70,000 bpd," a trader said.
Traders said about 30,000 bpd of Arun condensate had been allocated in July.
They said after its initial allocation of 200,000 bpd of crude in June, Pertamina gave its marketing affiliates additional supplies of oil, namely Minas and Belida.
In July, about 68,000 bpd of Minas crude had been allocated to its marketing affiliates compared to 80,000 bpd originally allocated in June.
Pertamina's allocation of Widuri and Bontang Mix will be unchanged from June, at 15,000 bpd and 26,000 bpd respectively.
About 15,000 bpd of Belida, a light crude, will be available for export in July. This is significantly higher than the 7,000 bpd allocated in June.
Traders said more Belida would be available as surpluses from June were brought into July.
They said about 42,000 bpd of Duri crude would be available in July against 35,000 bpd in June. Allocation of Cinta would be stable from June, around 14,000 bpd.
