RI-Algeria team set up
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia and Algeria yesterday formed a Joint
Economic and Technical Cooperation Commission to further enhance
bilateral ties between the two countries.
The commission was established with the signing here of notes
by Director General for Foreign Economic Relations Sumadi
Brotodiningrat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Algerian
Ambassador Abdallah Baali.
The creation of the commission was a follow-up to the economic
and technical cooperation agreement signed by the two countries
last month.
The commission will convene every two years at the level of
senior officials with the task of reviewing the progress of the
cooperation and convey advice in improving relations to the
appropriate ministries. (mds)
