Revitalisation of Rasuna Said Sidewalks in Jakarta Targeted for Completion in Next 5 Months

Heavy machinery and workers are completing the arrangement project on Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said, Jakarta, on Wednesday (8/4/2026). After the 109 monorail pillars along Jalan H.R. Rasuna Said, Kuningan, were fully dismantled, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has started rearranging the area by building facilities that are more friendly to pedestrians and public space users. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government targets that changes in the Rasuna Said area can be felt by the public in the near future. The revitalisation of the sidewalks spanning approximately 3.8 km by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is targeted to be completed within 3-5 months.
