Reviewing People's School in Bekasi, Budisatrio Motivates the Students
Budisatrio provided motivation to the students and appreciated the role of the Ministry of Social Affairs as the main driver of President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programme.
The statement was delivered directly to the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos), Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul), who was also present during the review.
“We respect and appreciate Mr Mensos as the driver of this programme, the main driver of this programme, who was able to bring (People’s School) in a very short time,” said Budisatrio in his statement on Wednesday (13/5/2026).
It is known that Gus Ipul and Budisatrio arrived at the location around 10.20 WIB, where their arrival was welcomed by the students’ yells.
Subsequently, the entourage proceeded to the classroom to review the learning process, such as English and Mathematics classes. There, Gus Ipul and Budisatrio dialogued with the students.
“Who wants to raise their hand to say something?” Gus Ipul asked the students.
Several students raised their hands, including Saidah, Sabda, and Saiful, who had the opportunity to share their impressions and messages while pursuing education at the People’s School.
“For 10 months I have been at People’s School Upper Secondary 13 Bekasi, I have gained a lot of lessons,” said Saidah when delivering her message to Budisatrio.
After reviewing the classes, Gus Ipul and Budisatrio inspected the library, physics laboratory, biology, and chemistry. At this moment, Budisatrio also watched the students’ variation marching performance on the field. He appeared to encourage the students and then took a group photo.
Budisatrio stated that the People’s School programme is the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto’s vision and mission, for investment in Indonesia’s future.
“We see Indonesian children, where they are given opportunities, they can and there are already many; among the 180 students of this People’s School, who in a very short time have achieved so many accomplishments,” said Budisatrio.
Meanwhile, Gus Ipul explained that after nearly two semesters, there have been many developments and positive changes in the People’s School students. To achieve this change, the school principal, teachers, and educational staff certainly faced various challenges.
“Especially in the early days of learning, the challenges were extraordinary at that time, besides different backgrounds, secondly also different capacities; that is the challenge for the school principal and teachers,” said Gus Ipul.
Gus Ipul thanked the school principal, teachers, and educational staff who worked with full dedication to overcome the challenges in educating People’s School students.
“It is truly not easy, but in less than 10 months, many achievements have been produced,” said Gus Ipul.
