Bogor City Secretary Deni Mulyadi has responded to the viral case involving a civil servant with the initials I who pawned appointment decrees (SK) of Satpol PP Bogor members, resulting in defaulted instalments and deductions from allowances. Deni stated that he had already clarified the matter with I.

“Yesterday, I summoned the Satpol PP secretary regarding the SK pawned by an ASN in Satpol PP to a fellow colleague. This has actually been ongoing for a while, but perhaps for a few months it wasn’t repaid by the person involved,” said Deni on Tuesday (14/4/2026).

Deni explained that the money from pawning the Satpol PP members’ SK was not used for office interests. According to Deni, the funds were used for I’s personal interests, who holds the position of Head of the Finance and Reporting Sub-section (Kasubag) of Satpol PP Bogor City.

“I have confirmed with the person involved and the friends who lent it; there’s no connection to the office. So it’s a personal matter between the lender and the borrower,” said Deni.

“Yesterday, information from Satpol PP indicated that (the number of victims) was around 14 people, ASNs in Satpol PP,” said Deni.

Previously, it went viral that a Satpol PP Bogor City member claimed his appointment SK was pawned by his superior to a bank, leading to overdue instalments. As a result, the monthly allowances of the affected members were deducted by the bank to cover the defaulted instalments for seven months.

Acting Head of Satpol PP City Pupung W Purnama confirmed the incident. According to him, the SK of Satpol PP Bogor City members was pawned by the ASN with initials I under an agreement that it would be repaid monthly.

“Yes, so I here used the members’ names to borrow money from the bank, using the members’ SK but with the members’ knowledge and an agreement that I would pay the instalments,” said Pupung to reporters.

“(I’s position) Head of the Finance and Reporting Sub-section at Satpol PP Bogor City,” he added.
