Revealed: Online Gambling Site Office in Hayam Wuruk Has Been Operating for 2 Months
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Police have revealed that the office of an international online gambling (judol) network in Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta, had been operating for the past two months before it was raided by the Directorate of General Criminal Crimes at Bareskrim Polri on Thursday (7/5/2026).
“From the examination results, approximately two months,” said the Director of General Criminal Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Pol Wira Satya Triputra, during a press conference on Saturday (9/5/2026).
Based on preliminary examination results, the 321 foreign nationals (WNA) caught red-handed in the raid reside around Hayam Wuruk.
In this regard, Wira found that all the perpetrators were not victims of deception.
Because they departed from their home countries without coercion and from the start knew they were working for the online gambling network.
Previously reported, Polri arrested 321 foreign nationals (WNA), 275 of whom have been designated as suspects.
They were arrested in a raid on a building in the Hayam Wuruk area, West Jakarta, on Thursday (7/5/2026).
In the raid, investigators also seized a number of pieces of evidence in the form of safes, passports, mobile phones, laptops, computers, and cash in various foreign currencies.
From preliminary examination results, investigators found 75 domains and websites allegedly used for online gambling operations.
Those domains use combinations of characters and variations of certain names to avoid blocking.
