Revealed! Fadia Arafiq's ART becomes Director at her family's company

Jakarta, VIVA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed that the director of PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB), Rul Bayatun (RUL), is a domestic worker for the Pekalongan Regent-ine Fadia Arafiq (FAR).

“The latest information we have is that he (Rul Bayatun) calls her ART. ART is FAR,” said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu in remarks confirmed in Jakarta, on Thursday, 5 March 2026.

Therefore, Asep said KPK suspects Rul Bayatun as a director of Fadia Arafiq’s family company is merely a formality.

“So, RUL was merely asked, commanded by FAR. For example, if cash is needed, withdraw cash, and he would withdraw it and hand over the money,” he said.

Earlier, on 3 March 2026, KPK arrested Fadia Arafiq together with aides and trusted confidants in the Semarang area, Central Java.

Subsequently, KPK announced the arrest of 11 other people from Pekalongan, Central Java.

The sequence of arrests formed part of the seventh round of KPK’s ‘OTT’ operations in 2026 and coincided with the Ramadan month.

On 4 March 2026, KPK named Fadia Arafiq as the sole suspect in a case of alleged corruption related to outsourcing services procurement, or labor hire, and other procurements within Pekalongan Regency’s government for the 2023-2026 budget years.

KPK said Fadia Arafiq was suspected of conflict of interest for establishing a family-owned company, PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya, which won several procurements within the Pekalongan Regency Government. She and her family then received Rp13.7 billion from those contracts. (Ant)
