Returning from Eid Homecoming, Wahyu's Motorbike Safely Deposited at Batu Ceper Police Station
Polda Metro Jaya has opened a vehicle deposit service for residents departing for Eid homecoming. One resident from Batu Ceper, Tangerang, named Wahyu, was delighted to find his beloved motorbike in safe condition after depositing it at Batu Ceper Police Station during his trip home.
Wahyu returned to Batu Ceper today after his homecoming trip that began last week. Before leaving, he entrusted his motorbike to Batu Ceper Police Station.
“I, Wahyu, would like to express my thanks to Batu Ceper Police Station for accepting the deposit of my motorbike during my Eid homecoming to my hometown,” said Wahyu on Tuesday (24/3/2026).
Wahyu stated that his motorbike was well-maintained during its deposit at Batu Ceper Police Station. He appreciated the service, which has greatly helped residents who were previously confused about where to leave their vehicles before heading home.
“Alhamdulillah, I have returned to Batu Ceper safely, and my motorbike is also in safe condition, nothing missing. Thank you to Batu Ceper Police Station. The Indonesian National Police has served the public well. Bravo Polri,” said Wahyu.
It is known that Polda Metro Jaya opened a free vehicle deposit service for the public planning to travel home for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H. The service is available across Polda Metro Jaya units, from police resorts to sector stations, and is intended for residents wishing to deposit motorbikes or cars while leaving their homes to return to their hometowns.
This programme was introduced as a measure to anticipate vehicle theft crimes or other public order disturbances when neighbourhoods are left empty during homecoming. In addition to the vehicle deposit service, police units have intensified patrols in residential areas to provide a sense of security to the public, in line with the slogan “Safe Homecoming, Happy Family.”
Head of Public Relations for Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, stated that the appreciation from the public is proof that the Indonesian National Police’s humane service is truly felt to be beneficial. According to him, the presence of the free vehicle deposit service is a form of Polda Metro Jaya’s commitment to providing protection and peace of mind to residents during the Eid homecoming period.
“Appreciation from the public certainly serves as motivation for us to continue delivering the best service. This free vehicle deposit service is a manifestation of the Indonesian National Police’s care so that the public can travel home with peace of mind, without worry about the security of the vehicles left behind. We aim to create a sense of safety, while ensuring that the Eid momentum can be enjoyed by the public with full happiness together with their families,” said Budi.
