Return Traffic Update: Contraflow Implemented on Km 70-36 of Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road

JAKARTA - As the one-way local system is implemented from Km 263 of the Pejagan-Pemalang toll road section to Km 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section, a contraflow from Km 70 to Km 36 on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road towards Jakarta was also enforced at 18:19 WIB. This contraflow implementation, at the police’s discretion, is intended to maintain traffic smoothness during the increasingly busy return traffic period. Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this traffic engineering is a joint effort to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles during the return traffic. Furthermore, JTT advises all Trans-Java toll road users to prioritise safety, plan travel times well, and ensure vehicles are in prime condition and roadworthy. Equally important, road users are expected to ensure sufficient fuel, electronic money balances, and the physical condition of drivers before undertaking the journey.
