Return Traffic Remains Under Control, One-Way System at Km 263-70 Maintained
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) is still maintaining the second stage of local one-way traffic engineering during the peak of the Lebaran return traffic on Sunday (29/3/2026).
Head of Korlantas Polri, Agus Suryonugroho, said the decision was taken after monitoring traffic conditions deemed still under control.
In addition, a contraflow on one lane is also being implemented from KM 70 to KM 55 on the Cikampek Toll Road. Until Saturday night (28/3/2026), traffic conditions were said to remain managed.
Moreover, there has been no significant increase at Gerbang Tol Kalikangkung,” he said.
“Therefore, the second stage of local one-way from KM 263 Pejagan Toll to KM 70 Cikatama Toll is still being maintained and not extended eastward,” he stated.
Nevertheless, the police are still preparing contingency scenarios if there is a surge in vehicles.
“In the future, if there is an increase in flow from the east or south, the implementation of the third stage one-way from KM 390 in the Kendal area will be considered. However, this is still in the evaluation stage,” said Agus.
“Overall, the second stage local one-way is still being maintained until Sunday (29/3/2026), while continuous monitoring and evaluation of traffic flow developments is carried out,” he added.
