Return Traffic Not Over Yet, Second Peak Predicted This Weekend
JAKARTA - Jasa Marga’s President Director, Rivan A. Purwantono, stated that the management of the initial return traffic peak on 24 March 2026 proceeded smoothly. Subsequently, the company will focus on the next return traffic peak, predicted to occur over two days, namely 28-29 March 2026. “Moving forward, the main focus is to anticipate the return traffic peak on 28-29 March 2026. We once again remind the public to take advantage of the toll discount on 26-27 March and use the Travoy app to plan their journeys more effectively,” Rivan said in his official statement on Thursday (26/3/2026). To anticipate potential traffic density during the return traffic period, the public is encouraged to utilise the 30% toll discount applicable on nine Jasa Marga toll road sections. The toll discount will be in effect for two days, on 26-27 March 2026, specifically for continuous journeys. Meanwhile, Indonesian Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo also advised the public to make the most of the remaining travel time so that traffic congestion during the return traffic peak can be alleviated.
