The Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) has halted the one-way traffic engineering for the 2026 Lebaran return flow, implemented from Kalikangkung Toll Gate at KM 414 to Brebes Toll Gate at KM 263. Korlantas Chief Irjen Agus Suryonugroho explained that the suspension was carried out because the volume of vehicles heading to Jakarta has begun to decrease. “Traffic conditions are starting to ease. It’s under control, so with the National Police Chief’s approval, at 10 o’clock we conducted an announcement,” he told reporters in Sukoharjo on Thursday (25/3). He added that after a two-hour announcement period, officers immediately sterilised the route before stopping the one-way scheme. Agus stated that the one-way traffic engineering is currently still in place from the Brebes toll road to Cikampek KM 70. He further noted that with the halt of the one-way system, the route from Pejagan to Semarang will return to normal. “So we will lift the national and local one-way from kilometre 414 to 263. It will be lifted, but from 263 to 70 it continues for the second stage of local one-way,” he said.
