JAKARTA - The Lebaran 2026 return traffic is beginning to show an increase, particularly for vehicles heading to Jakarta via the Trans-Java toll road. Preliminary data records thousands of vehicles already moving towards the western region in recent days. According to Ria Paalo, Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, the company is continuously monitoring traffic movements periodically through several main toll gates. She explained that these figures are still preliminary and are expected to continue rising as the peak return traffic, predicted for Tuesday (24/3/2026), approaches. Along with the increase in vehicle volume, toll road users are urged to anticipate potential congestion, especially at critical points such as rest areas and traffic convergence nodes. In addition, drivers are asked to plan their trips well, including avoiding peak times to ensure a smoother and more comfortable journey.
