Return Flow: Transjakarta Operates 5 Special Routes from Pulo Gebang
PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will operate additional bus services with the EID route code to support the smooth mobility of the public during the return flow period for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H. These services are specifically designed to strengthen connectivity for users from and to Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal in East Jakarta. Head of Public Relations and CSR at Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated that the addition of these services is a step to anticipate the surge in customers at departure and arrival points for intercity (AKAP) buses. “Through these EID routes, Transjakarta is present to ensure customers have safe and integrated transport options, even during the early morning hours when terminal activity is at its peak,” Ayu said in a written statement on Sunday (22/3). These special services will operate during the peak return flow period, from Wednesday (25/3) to Friday (27/3). Ayu explained that due to the considerable distance, Transjakarta is deploying large buses to guarantee passenger comfort along with their luggage. All EID routes will serve customers on a special schedule from 00:00 to 05:00 WIB with a total of 15 large bus units. She explained that the operation from 00:00 to 05:00 WIB aims to facilitate customers arriving in Jakarta in the early hours or those catching morning departure and arrival bus schedules. “We are preparing a total of 15 units spread across those five strategic routes. Customers are urged to always monitor bus positions in real-time via the TJ: Transjakarta app so that journeys can be planned better,” said Ayu. The five special EID routes available are: 1. EID1 Pulo Gebang - Senen 2. EID2 Pulo Gebang - Tanjung Priok 3. EID3 Pulo Gebang - Kampung Rambutan 4. EID4 Pulo Gebang - Pasar Minggu 5. EID5 Pulo Gebang - Kalideres
