PT TASPEN (Persero) has called upon civil service apparatus (ASN) and state official retirees to increase vigilance against various fraud schemes operating under the company’s name as the 2026 Year-End Allowance (THR) disbursement process commenced on 5 March.

Corporate Secretary of PT TASPEN, Henra, stated in a statement on Monday (9 March) that THR disbursement is conducted automatically to each participant’s account without requiring any additional processes or service charges.

“We emphasise that TASPEN never charges service fees or requests additional personal data for THR disbursement through unofficial channels throughout the entire service process. All our services are provided free of charge,” Henra stated.

He also urged participants to safeguard their personal data and refrain from providing sensitive information to parties whose authenticity cannot be verified.

During the 2026 THR distribution period, TASPEN ensures payment processing to approximately 3.2 million pension beneficiaries proceeds on schedule, securely, and accurately. To date, approximately 97 per cent of THR has been successfully distributed to beneficiaries.

Concurrent with this process, the company reminded participants to remain cautious of various fraud schemes that commonly emerge during fund disbursement periods, including requests for personal data, transmission of suspicious links, and demands for service charges purporting to represent TASPEN.

To prevent such incidents, TASPEN urged participants to apply the principle of “Hold, Verify, and Report”. Participants were asked not to immediately trust messages or letters claiming to represent the company, to verify information authenticity through official TASPEN channels or the 1500919 call centre, and to report suspected fraud to the competent authorities or official complaint services.

This measure forms part of TASPEN’s commitment to safeguarding participant security and comfort, whilst ensuring every pension recipient’s entitlements, including THR disbursement, are received punctually and accountably.

The company also reiterated its commitment to continuously enhance the quality of social security services for ASN and state officials through transparent, secure, and easily accessible systems for all participants.
