Results of Fit and Proper Test for Candidate OJK Governor Released on 11 March 2026
Jakarta — Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives will conduct a fitness and propriety assessment, or fit and proper test, on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, according to a statement from Commission XI chairman Mukhamad Misbakhun. The test follows a presidential letter numbered R-09 dated 9 March 2026.
Misbakhun revealed that ten candidates from the original twenty have advanced from administrative selection to the Commission XI selection panel for the OJK board. Five candidates will ultimately be selected based on fit and proper test results to fill five positions on the Financial Services Authority board.
“There are ten names sent to us, and these are for a five-year term as stipulated in the presidential letter conveyed to the leadership of the House of Representatives,” said Misbakhun at the House of Representatives building in Jakarta on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
The ten candidates are Frederica Widyasari Dewi, Agus Sugiarto, Hernawan Bekti Sasongko, Ari Zulfikar, Hasan Fauzi, Darmansyah, Dicky Kartikoyono, Danu Febrianto, Adi Budiarso and Anton Daryono.
According to Misbakhun, these ten candidates will fill five positions covering chairman, deputy chairman, capital markets, digital assets, and consumer protection.
The fit and proper test results will be announced on the same day, following the established tradition for similar assessments at the central bank (BI), OJK, and deposit insurance corporation (LPS).
“We must make quick decisions in the current situation as a response to uncertainties; we must provide market certainty regarding what should be decided rapidly. This must be done promptly so that they can lead the institution quickly,” Misbakhun stated.
