Results of 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz Frequency Selection Officially Ratified

The Ministry of Communication and Digital has ratified the results of the selection for users of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz radio frequency bands for the operation of mobile cellular networks in 2026. According to a ministry press release in Jakarta on Tuesday, the ratification was carried out after the objection submission period for the selection results had ended. Based on the provisions in the selection documents, participants were given two working days to submit objections to the selection results, starting from the announcement of the results. By the time the objection submission deadline expired on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, at 15.00 WIB, the selection team stated that it had not received any objections from the participants. Consequently, the ranking list of the selection results, as conveyed in the Selection Team Announcement Number 04/SP/TIMSEL/KOMDIGI/07/2026, remains unchanged. For the 700 MHz band, the second position was secured by PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), which obtained a 20 MHz radio frequency band block (2x10 MHz) with a total bid value of Rp642.5 billion. PT Indosat Tbk was in third place with a 20 MHz radio frequency band block (2x10 MHz) and a total bid value of Rp507.48 billion. For the 2.6 GHz band, PT Indosat Tbk was in second place with a 60 MHz radio frequency band block and a total bid value of Rp372 billion. Third place was secured by PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk with a 50 MHz radio frequency band block and a total bid value of Rp231.6 billion. The Minister of Communication and Digital will officially determine the winners of the 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz radio frequency band selection for mobile cellular network operations in 2026 in accordance with statutory provisions. The ministry stated that the minister’s determination of the winners is final and binding.
