Restructuring Business Model, Danantara Ensures LRT City Project Completion

BPI Danantara Indonesia has ensured that the LRT City project, developed by PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk (ADCP), will undergo a redesign and business model restructuring to accelerate its completion.

COO of Danantara Indonesia and Head of BP BUMN, Dony Oskaria, stated that the LRT City project will undergo design adjustments, including the facade and commercial areas, and will involve new architects to support the project’s reconfiguration.

“First and foremost, the decision is that we will proceed with this project. We will hire new architects to carry out the process. The facade will be changed, as will the business model, including the commercial areas,” said Dony, quoting the official Instagram of BP BUMN on Wednesday (30/09/2026).

Dony explained that from a business perspective, the project is still considered to have potential because it includes valuable land assets located in strategic areas. Consequently, the project’s reconfiguration is directed not only towards completing construction but also towards ensuring its sustainability and commercial feasibility.

Beyond the business aspects, he noted that completing the LRT City project is also part of an effort to provide certainty to members of the public who have purchased units and are awaiting the completion of their residences.

Danantara is encouraging the construction process to resume with more directed management, paying close attention to the quality of the project’s completion.

Dony emphasised that the decision to continue the project is not based solely on commercial considerations, but also takes into account the responsibility towards consumers.

“I hope our decision is a good one. This is a decision that is not merely about commercial interests. Therefore, the first steps are to immediately find the right people,” said Dony.

Through this decision, Danantara is directing the completion of LRT City to be oriented not only towards commercial aspects but also to ensure the project can proceed properly and provide certainty for consumers who have been waiting for their housing to be completed.
