Responsibility of new Cabinet

Irrespective of the positive and negative aspects of the new
Cabinet, the long-awaited solution to a puzzle has finally come
out. In fact, ordinary people do not care who is included in the
Cabinet. Their only concern is that they can enjoy security and
prosperity.

So, those making a commotion about this matter must be people
who failed to get enlisted into the Cabinet and, owing to their
fat pockets, were able to entice certain groups into action.

Most Indonesians are now experiencing crises in political,
economic and security sectors. Therefore, they pin great hopes on
Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (coordinating minister for
political, social and security affairs) and Mr. Rizal Ramli
(coordinating minister for the economy). The years that Mr.
Bambang previously spent as the military's chief of staff of
sociopolitical affairs and as a territorial chief of staff and
the activities carried out by Mr. Rizal Ramli in the Advisory
Group on Economic Industry and Trade (ECONIT) will be sufficient
assets for them to be able to coordinate the ministers to ensure
that they will be able to work toward solving the ongoing crises.
Leave behind personal and group interests, either within or
without the Cabinet.

Gus Dur made the right choice when appointing these two
gentlemen in their present posts. It is also expected that they
will be able to bear the responsibility and perform their tasks
well in the interest of the nation.
