Response to Demonstration Action in Pematang Siantar, This is BNI's Answer

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) has provided clarification regarding the demonstration that took place at the Pematang Siantar Branch Office, North Sumatra, on Friday (24 April 2026). BNI asserts that the issue highlighted by the public relates to a product of a cooperative. BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo emphasised that the cooperative is a standalone entity and not part of BNI. Furthermore, Okki stressed that this case is currently in the process of legal resolution. BNI fully respects the ongoing legal process. “We are committed to resolving this case by adhering to the current legal decision,” he said.
