Responding to Resident Reports, Police Patch Potholes Under Ciputat Flyover

The East Ciputat Police Sector has responded to reports from residents regarding potholes located under the Ciputat flyover on Jalan Ir H Juanda, East Ciputat, South Tangerang. The police have now covered the potholes with sand.

The report was received by the Ciputat Police Sector on Friday (11/09/2026) afternoon. Following up on the report, Supervising Officer Iptu Agus Imamudin, alongside Brigadier Yudha Adi, arrived at the location at approximately 13:50 WIB.

Officers performed temporary patching by spreading sand over the potholed sections of the road to anticipate potential traffic accidents.

The Chief of East Ciputat Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, stated that this action was a direct follow-up to reports from residents who were unsettled by the road conditions.

“We received reports from the community regarding potholes that could potentially endanger road users. Personnel on the ground moved immediately to perform temporary patching to ensure the safety of motorists,” said Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq.

Following the intervention at the site, the traffic flow in the area under the Ciputat flyover was reported to be smooth, safe, and under control. This anticipatory step is expected to prevent accidents involving motorcyclists while awaiting permanent handling from the relevant authorities.
