Residents Welcome Concrete Reconstruction of Teluknaga-Dadap Road in Tangerang
Residents have welcomed the reconstruction of the Teluknaga-Dadap road in Tangerang Regency, carried out by the Banten Provincial Government. The development is expected to improve comfort for road users and reduce the risk of accidents caused by damaged roads. This was conveyed by David, a 32-year-old Dadap resident, after witnessing Banten Governor Andra Soni directly inspect the implementation of the Teluknaga-Dadap road construction on Tuesday. “Residents are very happy that the Banten Provincial Government is reconstructing the Teluknaga-Dadap road section with concrete construction,” David said in a written statement. David hopes the construction process can be completed soon so that traffic flow returns to normal and congestion can be reduced. “It is hoped it will be finished quickly so that traffic is smooth and not jammed,” he added. Meanwhile, Banten Governor Andra Soni said that handling the Teluknaga-Dadap road is one of the Banten Provincial Government’s priorities in the 2026 Fiscal Year. “Alhamdulillah, today we are directly inspecting the implementation of the Teluknaga-Dadap road works,” said Andra Soni. “This year, in the 2026 Pure Regional Budget, we are handling 750 metres of heavily damaged road with a value of around Rp6 billion, and then later in the revised budget we will continue with a value of Rp11 billion,” he revealed. Andra Soni stated that the works are part of the Banten Provincial Government’s efforts to repair all road sections experiencing heavy damage. He also urged the public to be careful when passing the work site during the construction period. “Our hope is that we can handle this eight-kilometre road, especially the sections that are heavily damaged,” he said. “We urge road users to be careful during the construction process and ask for their support so that the construction is completed soon and the road can be used again by the community,” he concluded.
