The West Jakarta Sub-department for Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control (Sudin PPAPP) has urged residents to report any acts of violence against women and children to the Centre for the Protection of Women and Children (PPPA) posts. “If there is a need in the community for assistance or reporting, please convey it to our post, or contact the local RPTRA officer,” said Head of West Jakarta Sudin PPAPP, Dian Anggraini Susanthy. She made the statement during a simultaneous family counselling movement event in 2026, at RT 03/02, Meruya Selatan Urban Village, Kembangan District, on Friday. She expressed hope that all elements of society would synergise to eradicate acts of violence. She also continues to campaign the contact number for complaints and consultations. “Stop violence against families and children. For the time being, the hotline for complaints and consultations can be reached at 085217866445,” Dian said. She further revealed that the PPPA is one of the Technical Implementation Units under the DKI Jakarta PPAPP Agency. Services at the PPPA Post are accessible free of charge to the public. Dian noted that out of 44 PPPA complaint posts in Jakarta, West Jakarta residents can visit eight posts, namely Pos Alur Kemuning, Pos Jatipulo Akur, Pos Kalijodo, Pos Kembangan Utara, Pos Matahari, Pos Wijaya Kusuma, Pos Jeruk Manis, and Pos Cengkareng Utama. Cases handled include physical and psychological domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence including harassment and abuse, child bullying, human trafficking, child exploitation, children in conflict with the law, and other cases related to gender-based violence.
