PT Andalan Duta Eka Nusantara (Aden Indonesia) together with PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral (SCM) held a Community Development and Empowerment Programme (PPM) with the theme “Building Capacity, Empowering Communities” in Routa District, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, on 17–18 June 2026. The programme, conducted around the operational area of PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral, was attended by dozens of participants from various community groups, including representatives of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and groups of housewives. The activity aims to improve the knowledge, skills, and capacity of the community to drive sustainable economic welfare improvements. The series of activities included training on food safety and hygiene, business value chains for BUMDes representatives, and cooking skills training for women in Routa District. The materials provided were designed to be applicable in daily life while opening up new business opportunities for the community. Marketing Communication Manager of PT Andalan Duta Eka Nusantara, Ellyzar Zachra, stated that the company has a responsibility not only to run its business but also to provide tangible benefits to the communities around its operational areas. “We believe that corporate responsibility is not only related to business growth efforts but also how the company can contribute to community empowerment. Aden Indonesia is present around SCM’s operational area for a certain period, but we hope the company’s contribution can continue to benefit the community sustainably, especially in efforts to improve the quality of life,” said Ellyzar. A similar commitment was conveyed by External Community Manager of PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral, Iqbal Muharram Arsa. According to him, the company continuously strives to deliver community development programmes that provide a positive impact beyond the company’s operational activities. “As a company operating in the Routa District area, we remain committed to making a positive contribution to the community. Not only related to the company’s operational activities but also sustainable community development programmes. By partnering with Aden Indonesia, we hope the community will gain more benefits,” he said. In the cooking skills training, participants received material on processing banana chips as a product with economic value. Bananas were chosen because they are an easily obtained commodity and widely cultivated in the Routa area. Through this training, participants are expected to be able to produce processed products of good quality and competitive in the market, thus becoming an additional source of income for families and village enterprises. BUMDes and housewife groups were selected as participants because they are considered to have an important role in supporting the community’s economic activities while being part of the community around the operations of Aden Indonesia and PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral. The company hopes that the synergy established through this empowerment programme can strengthen relations with the community while creating long-term benefits in the form of increased human resource capacity and local economic growth.
