Residential Fire in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta: 26 Fire Units Deployed

A residential fire occurred on Jalan Kemayoran Gempol in Kebon Kosong, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, with 26 fire engines and 87 personnel deployed to the scene to extinguish the flames.

“Object: Residential property,” stated the fire department command centre in a statement on Monday, 1 June 2026.

The fire department received the alert at approximately 8:55 PM WIB, with firefighters beginning operations at around 9:05 PM WIB.

“Firefighting operations are underway,” they added.

The cause of the fire and the number of casualties remain unknown.

“The fire could spread further,” they added.
