Research on Jambi dwarves

JAMBI, Jambi: Deborah Martyr, is a British scholar conducting
research on the existence of dwarf people living in Kerinci
Seblat national park.

For many people in Jambi, the dwarves exist in fairly tales
and some even claim to have seen them.

But Kerinci regent Bambang Sukowinarno said that Martyr, 36,
was among the few who had discovered traces of their existence
when she began her research on the dwarves early last year.

"Very recently, she saw several dwarves but they disappeared
before she could film them with her video camera," he said as
quoted by Antara.(pan)
