Rescheduling Free Whoosh Tickets: Check the Requirements and How to Do It

Don’t panic if you miss the schedule for the Whoosh high-speed train from Jakarta to Bandung or vice versa. Whoosh tickets can still be rescheduled. General Manager of Corporate Secretary at KCIC, Eva Chairunisa, stated that rescheduling Whoosh tickets can be done online and offline within certain limits. “We present this policy to provide a sense of security and comfort for passengers, especially in facing unexpected travel situations,” said Eva in an official statement received by Kompas.com on Saturday (28/3/2026). The time limit for rescheduling Whoosh tickets at the station counter can be done up to a maximum of 15 minutes after the departure schedule. Passengers are urged to head to the counter immediately if they experience delays so that the schedule change process can be done on time. “With increasingly flexible services, we hope the public can continue their journey comfortably using Whoosh,” Eva added. Although the Whoosh rescheduling service is available, Eva still urges KCIC passengers to arrive earlier at the departure station, at least 30 minutes before the boarding schedule. This is important to ensure the boarding process runs smoothly, as the gate will close five minutes before departure to maintain travel safety. Furthermore, KCIC recorded Whoosh ticket sales for the 2026 Lebaran transportation period reaching around 280,000 tickets for the travel period of 13-30 March 2026. For today’s departure on 28 March 2026, tickets sold so far have reached around 13,000 and are predicted to continue increasing as sales are still ongoing until the last departure.
