Requirements for KIP Kuliah 2026 Recipients via SNBP Pathway, Check the Information
The SNBP 2026 results have been announced. For participants who passed SNBP 2026 and applied for the Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP Kuliah), in addition to academic data verification, economic data verification will also be conducted based on documents and/or visits to the participant’s residential address.
According to the KIP Kuliah 2026 Announcement for the SNBP Pathway released on the SNPMB website, student applicants for KIP Kuliah who participated in the SNBP pathway selection for public universities (PTN) under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology will meet the Eligible KIP Kuliah criteria and become prospective recipients if they fulfil the following requirements:
Passed the PTN selection under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology via the SNBP pathway.
Registered in the National Integrated Social-Economic Data (DTSEN) in the very poor to vulnerable poor community group or in Decile 1 to Decile 4.
Furthermore, prospective KIP Kuliah recipients can be declared as recipients after:
Completing the re-registration process and being officially recorded as new students at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology higher education institution.
Passing verification and validation by the higher education institution based on the registration documents to become KIP Kuliah recipients.
Stages at the Higher Education Institution
After receiving the list of KIP Kuliah applicants who passed the PTN selection via the SNBP pathway and meet the Eligible KIP Kuliah criteria, the higher education institution will:
Ensure that prospective students promptly complete re-registration at the higher education institution.
Conduct verification and validation based on the registration documents to become KIP Kuliah recipients using:
Economic data in the KIP Kuliah SIM and/or New Student Registration SIM at the higher education institution
Direct verification and validation, either offline or online
- Submit the verification and validation results report to PPAPT according to the specified time period.
What If Not Eligible as a KIP Kuliah Recipient?
Higher education institutions are expected to assist with the re-registration process for KIP Kuliah applicants who passed the PTN selection via the SNBP pathway but do not meet the Eligible KIP Kuliah criteria, in accordance with each institution’s policies, such as assigning UKT1 or UKT2 groups or seeking other scholarship funding.
How to Check KIP Kuliah Recipient Status
Checking the KIP Kuliah status is done to determine whether you are recorded as a recipient of the assistance or not. The KIP Kuliah recipient status can be checked online via the official KIP Kuliah website at kip-kuliah.kemdiktisaintek.go.id.
Here is how to check KIP Kuliah recipients.
Open the website kip-kuliah.kemdiktisaintek.go.id/penerima
Enter the NIK according to the ID card/family card (ensure the NIK is correct and matches the population documents)
Click Search
After that, the KIP Kuliah recipient status will be displayed
