Requirements for 2026 PIP Kemendikdasmen Recipients, How to Check, and Amounts

The Indonesia Pintar Programme (PIP) from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) will continue in 2026, aiming to provide students from economically disadvantaged families with access to quality education. According to Ministerial Regulation (Permendikdasmen) Number 11 of 2026, the programme targets students from poor and vulnerable families.

Eligible recipients include holders of the Indonesia Pintar Card (KIP), students from families receiving the Family Hope Programme (PKH), and those listed in the Social Welfare Integrated Data. The programme also covers orphans, students affected by natural disasters, dropouts, those with disabilities, and students whose parents have been laid off or are in correctional facilities.

To check eligibility, students can visit the official PIP website, enter their National Student Identification Number (NISN) and National Identity Number (NIK), and complete a simple verification step. The annual grant amounts are set at Rp 450,000 for early childhood education, Rp 225,000 to Rp 450,000 for primary school, Rp 375,000 to Rp 750,000 for lower secondary, and Rp 900,000 to Rp 1.8 million for upper secondary levels. Disbursement is planned in two terms, with the first typically running from January to July and the second from August to December.
