Requirements and How to Register for the Empowered Mikrotrans Driver Programme Phase 2
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) together with the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) or Bazis DKI Jakarta has opened registrations for the second phase of the 1,000 Empowered Mikrotrans Drivers Programme. This programme aims to strengthen community empowerment in the public transportation sector.
“The 1,000 Empowered Mikrotrans Drivers Programme Phase 2 is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to providing broader empowerment opportunities for the community,” said the Head of the Collection Division of Baznas (Bazis) of DKI Jakarta Province, Ahmad Sholih, as reported by Antara on Wednesday (22/4/2026).
About the Programme
This programme is the result of collaboration between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Baznas (Bazis) DKI Jakarta, and the public transportation operator Transjakarta. This initiative is one of the strategic efforts to enhance the capacity and competence of the community, particularly in the public transportation sector.
“The 1,000 Empowered Mikrotrans Drivers Programme Phase 2 is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to providing broader empowerment opportunities for the community,” Ahmad Sholih stated.
Through this programme, participants will receive training, mentoring, and undergo a selection process before having the opportunity to join as Mikrotrans drivers. “We ensure a comprehensive preparation process through training, mentoring, and standardised selection,” he added.
Requirements and How to Register
Here are the requirements and registration method for the Empowered Mikrotrans Driver Programme Phase 2:
Requirements:
Men or women aged 22-45 years
Possess a DKI Jakarta ID card
Minimum education of high school or equivalent
Possess an active Class A driving licence or higher
Have at least one year of experience driving manual vehicles
Must participate in the entire selection and training process until completion
How to register:
Registration is conducted online
No fees are charged (free)
